The Vindicators Lineup

Chris Carley- Guitar, Vocals

Chris founded the Vindicators Band in  2003. Performing in various Denver bands over the last 20 years, and most recently with the Dusty Walker Band. He has played guitar with noted Denver artists such as Bob Pelligrino, Sammy Mayfield, and the Out Crowd. "I enjoy being part of the Denver music scene." We know you will enjoy his lively and soulful guitar playing.

John Bowman- Bass Guitar

The bass line drives much of our music.
I like to “play in the pocket” and
coordinate closely with our drummer.
I think of
the bass part as a liaison
between pure rhythm and the chord
progressions
that frame the melody.
For you gearheads: I have been playing
the same 1971 Fender Precision
fretless
bass since 1972.
  I like Fender 9050
flat wound high-tension
strings.
I use Carvin Bass amplifiers.

High-octane electricity only

Bill McGreevy-  Drums/Vocals

Bill has performed and recorded for many years playing a variety of styles including blues, rock, country, jazz, and on and on.  He is a song writer and his tunes have appeared on albums with a number of bands. Bill has toured extensively including stints on concert stages opening for national acts such as Tab Benoit, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Poco, Kansas, Bad Company and many others

Wendy Carley-  Vocals

Although a native to Denver, Wendy began  singing with local bands in New Orleans when she was nineteen. Returning to Colorado in the late eighties, she has performed with various local bands on and off since that time. I love blues and roots music. It is the backbone of many of the styles and genres we hear today. The blues is true American music that tells a story that comes directly from the heart and soul.

Rod Lasley- Guitar, Vocals

Rod is the newest member of the Vindicators.
He has many years of experience under his belt playing with numerous bands over the years, mainly right here in Colorado. His smooth vocals and soulful guitar playing round out the Vindicators sound. Rod plays Gibson guitars and Fender amps.

Tom Day- Keyboards

Tom plays a comp style that allows the guitars to
solo freely while the structure of the song is held
down by the bass and keyboards. Tom uses Clavia
Nord Electro sounds to get the warmth
and feel
of  the  vintage organs and electric  pianos  of
yesteryear.   I  use  Traynor  amps to get tube  overdrive and warmth to gives the  blues a living
vibe.
